Description
EDGE certification is a green building standard and international certification system developed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, and administered by the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) globally. It focuses on making buildings more resource-efficient, affordable, and sustainable, particularly in emerging markets. EDGE helps developers, architects, and investors identify cost-effective strategies to reduce energy use, water consumption, and embodied carbon in materials.
