Liquid elastomeric waterproofing involves applying a monolithic, fully bonded liquid coating to a surface, which cures to form a rubber-like, elastic membrane (such as polyurethane / PU) capable of stretching and returning to its original shape without damage.
Application Methods
Liquid elastomeric membranes can be applied using rollers, brushes, squeegees, or spray equipment. Two-component spray systems allow fast curing, enabling early pedestrian traffic or overcoating within seconds. The coating is applied cold, eliminating the fire hazards associated with hot-applied membranes.
